While clipboard monitoring is active, ClipSnap reads supported items from the general macOS clipboard and stores them in a local history on your Mac.
Captures and recordings
ClipSnap requests macOS screen recording permission when you use screen capture or recording. It requests microphone or system-audio access only when you choose a recording mode that uses that audio source.
Text recognition
ClipSnap uses Apple’s Vision framework on your Mac to recognise text in images and screenshots.
Storage and syncing
Clipboard history and captures are stored locally on your Mac. iCloud sync is not enabled in the current release. Local folder sync accesses only a folder you choose.
Deleting information
You can remove individual history items or clear stored history from within ClipSnap. Files exported or synced to a folder you chose remain under your control.
